John Harkin, Chairman

John Harkin is the Founder of Alchemy Technology Services. After decades of working globally as a leader and change maker, John returned to his hometown of Derry in 2018 and launched Alchemy, a global centre of excellence for insurance software implementation.

Alchemy is about more than the bottom line; John has used his experience to create something new and better in a region in much need of investment. By choosing to found Alchemy in Derry, John brought well paid careers to the city and outlying areas, playing his part in the socio-economic recovery of the North West region and beyond.
